Silver Plate Ruskin Stone Arts And Craft Teapot C1890sA silver plate arts and craft teapot decorated with rsukin stones, c1890s. ===========================. A wm. Briggs & co silevr plated teapot from the arts and crafts period decorated with blue, green and turquoise ruskin stones around the top of the body of the teapot. hTe bands around the handle appear to also be ceramic. Marked on the base 'wm briggs & co, sheffield'. Dated c1890s. ____________________________________________________. Item condition please ese pictures below. The silver plate has wear around the body and lid. The handle on the lid is lose. The only dent appears on teh rear of the lid above the hinge.
The lid itself has broken away from the main body (please see pictures below). The ceramic ruskin stones are in good condition and have good depth of colour and variation.
Item measurements siez appx. 19cm (h) x 12cm (width body ony ex. Handles adn spout) weight (pre-packaged) 769g. ____________________________________________________. Other detailsdelivery is via the royal mail sign for service for which the fee is included in the delivery costs. Heaiver or larger items are delivered via the royal mail parcelforce service. Combined postage of more than one item can be arranged to reduce delivrey costs where possible following the end of the auction. Please note that postage is based on weight and size of the item, and some of the cost and weight of the packaging has also been taken into account when setting a delivery charge. Delivery insurance is included up to a maximum fo £30.00. Additional insurance can be organised if required after the completion of the auction. Payment is preferred via paypal although cheques can eb accepted for items purchased in the uk only. Please compelte payment within 10 days of the end of the auction. Packaging is undertaken with care to reduce the chance of damage to any item purchased.
